Facilities available at Dubai Maritime City has been introduced to Ship Owners with the help of a special meeting that was arranged last week. The venue of the meeting was The Capital Club at the Dubai International Financial Centre. Many business people have now shown interest in Dubai Maritime City. The main agenda of the meeting was to educate the guests about the investment opportunities at Dubai Maritime City. Many of the businessmen and leaders discussed the corporation that they can offer to the project. While addressing the meeting, Nikloas also informed the investors about his company setting up an operating centre in Dubai Maritime City. Taking the lead and responsibilities of commitments, Khamis Juma Buamin mentioned that he would be fully accountable for ensuring that the promises are met and that the investors would not face any difficulty at Dubai Maritime City.
Concerns for Environment
While addressing the guests, Khamis Juma Buamin expressed his interest in diversifying the portfolio and options available at Dubai Maritime City. He also enlightened the investors about a project that is being worked upon to reduce the impact on the environment. Under the project, Khamis Juma Buamin plans to use Tug powered by LNG. He also mentioned that their group is already working with DNV & Rolls Royce for this ambitious product. During the meeting, Khamis also displayed the assumed benefit in terms of reduced emissions from this project.
It can be said that the DMC is a very ambitious project and it has something to offer for everyone. The project has already garnered a lot of global attention, and it has seen a massive inflow of Foreign Direct Investment. Being in a critical belt, DMC is undoubtedly going to offer a diverse shipyard & maritime experience to businesses and investors.
